PLANNING COMMITTEE FOR UN DAY GALA

The GALA celebrating UN DAY is the chapter’s major event each year. Many volunteers are needed and there are opportunities to serve on sub-committees to help plans for logistics, theme, speakers, awardees, sponsorships, promotion, etc.

Help set and attend meetings with legislatures. Write op-ed articles for newspapers. Prepare advocacy activity for various UNA-OC meetings, events, activities.

Volunteers may choose to be involved in all, some, or one of the events and for the various ways to participate: chairing a specific event, finding venues, contacting speakers, creating flyers, logistics day of event.
